Senin, 30 September 2019. Semarak suara gembira Mahasiswa STIBA Ar-Raayah mengudara di langit UI (Universitas Indonesia), mengiringi prosesi pengumuman juara lomba Bahasa Arab Middle East Festival 2019. Dari lima cabang yang diikuti STIBA Ar-Raayah berhasil memborong juara empat cabang perlombaan, juara pertama pidato Bahasa Arab, juara kedua puisi Bahasa Arab, juara kedua tahfidz 30 juz, serta terakhir juara kedua dan ketiga debat Bahasa Arab.
Perlombaan yang berlangsung dari tanggal 26 sampai 30 September ini juga dihadiri oleh Duta Besar Arab Saudi yang siap memberi tiket umroh bagi 3 pemenang. "Yang spesial dari lomba kali ini adalah kehadiran duta besar Arab Saudi, begitu juga adanya beberapa dari Arab," tutur Muhammad Nor Hidayat, salah satu kontingen STIBA Ar-Raayah.
Muhammad Ferdi, pemenang juara pertama pidato Bahasa Arab dari STIBA Ar-Raayah merasa sangat bahagia. Sebelum disebutkan namanya, dia juga sangat deg-degan akan tetapi dia terus berzikir dan berdoa. Dan selang beberapa menit atas izin Allah namanya naik tinggi di langit Universitas Indonesia sebagai pemenang juara pertama pidato Bahasa Arab dengan perolehan nilai 100. "Saya merasa deg-degan ketika disebutkan juara kedua soalnya nilainya sangat tinggi, tapi Alhamdulillah bisa mendapatkan juara pertamanya," Ferdi menerangkan. Setelah diwawancarai, ternyata Muhammad Ferdi ini sudah berlatih keras semenjak SMA, ketika dia ditunjuk menjadi asisten kiai terkenal di lampung.
